Our standard
m4dco.com is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the standard we test against as the site changes.
What we do
Pages use semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can navigate them. Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a skip link at the top of each page jumps past the navigation. Images carry descriptive alternative text, and video on the site is decorative and muted, with no information carried by sound alone.
Text and interface colors are chosen to meet contrast requirements against the dark background. Type scales with your browser settings, and layouts reflow for small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Motion on the site respects your system's reduced-motion setting. If you have it turned on, animated headlines appear at once, looping footage holds on a still frame, and hover effects that move elements are disabled.
Known limitations
Some case study imagery is photographic and the alternative text describes the scene rather than every detail. Third-party sites we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
